We Care

Due to the recent unfortunate incident that lead to local Dallas police officer, Darron Burks, being killed in the line of duty, Solution Focused Psych Services is offering FREE therapy sessions (up to 6) for local officers.

SFPS understands that law enforcement officers may need assistance processing what happened and how it has affected them. These appointments will be completely confidential and no records or notes will be shared with your agency.

You must be a current officer serving with a local DFW law enforcement agency. Please click below to complete your intake and request an appointment with our office.

Dr. Octavia Landrum

Our Mission

At Solution Focused Psych Services, our mission is to provide compassionate and evidence-based treatments to help our clients achieve their goals and improve their mental health and well-being.

Our Clinician

Dr. Octavia Landrum is a licensed Clinical Psychologist authorized to practice independently in the states of Texas and California.

As a licensed provider, Dr. Landrum has served as Senior Psychologist Supervisor for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the Chief Psychologist for entities such as the Department of Defense Army and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Dr. Landrum has also served as a vendor for several county and state entities, including the Dallas County Sheriff's Office and the California Department of State Hospitals.

Dr. Landrum specializes in conducting psychological assessments for pre-employment, competency, fitness for duty, diagnostic, placement, and risk evaluations for offenders.
